Minority Business Trade Fair
The Southern California Regional Purchasing Council will host the 32nd Annual Minority Business Opportunity Day Trade Fair on Feb. 14 and 15, focusing on e-commerce.
The event, to be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center, is designed to foster business partnerships between minority-owned businesses and the private and public sectors.
Minority suppliers--expected to number over a thousand--will have access to 190 major purchasing entities, from private Fortune 500 corporations as well as government agencies.
The Southern California Regional Purchasing Council is one of 38 regional councils across the country organized under the New York-based National Minority Supplier Development Council. The organizations certify the minority status of suppliers doing business with major corporations.
