John Schroer, who ran Invesco Funds’ Health Sciences Fund, has left to start his own health-sciences hedge fund, he said Tuesday. Schroer departed Denver-based Invesco last week. The $2-billion Invesco Health Sciences Fund gained 25.8% last year but still ranked near the bottom in terms of performance among health funds overall. Invesco named Tom Wald to succeed Schroer at the fund. . . .
