Attack Is Attempted on Killer in Court

A man tried to attack a convicted killer in a courtroom in New York as he was being sentenced to life in prison for murdering three teenage girls and raping four others.
Court officers grabbed the man, a relative of one of the murder victims, before he could reach Arohn Kee. The man, who was not identified, was removed from the courtroom but not arrested.
Others in the jammed courtroom screamed and sobbed and yelled curses at Kee as court officers returned him to a holding cell.
