Gunman Takes Cash From Office Depot
A man with a handgun held up an Office Depot on Thursday morning and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, authorities said.
Ventura Police Sgt. Darin Schindler said witnesses described the suspect as about 30 years old with a medium build, braided hair, a gray sweatshirt and gray sweatpants.
The store, at 4731 Telephone Road, had just opened at 7 a.m. when the man walked in and confronted employees, Schindler said.
He pulled out a revolver and demanded money.
Witnesses told police that the man ran east in the parking lot of the store, Schindler said.
