In other City Section second-round playoff games:
El Camino Real 1, Manual Arts 0--Yan Falkinstein scored from six yards with an assist from Jeremy Huang in the 20th minute at El Camino Real.
The No. 1-seeded Conquistadores (24-3) had goals by Falkinstein and Zach Feldman waved off because they were ruled offsides.
Manual Arts was seeded No. 16.
Huntington Park 1, Poly 1--The No. 29-seeded Parrots lost, 5-4, in a shootout at No. 13-seeded Huntington Park.
Poly was coming off an upset of No. 4 Belmont.
South Gate 1, Grant 1--The No. 30-seeded Rams pulled off their second consecutive upset by defeating the Lancers, 3-2, on penalty kicks at Grant.
South Gate upended No. 3 Palisades in the first round.
Grant was seeded No. 14.
