From Times Wire Reports
Gov. Jesse Ventura, no stranger to nicknames, has come up with an unflattering moniker for reporters who cover the state Capitol: Jackals.
With tongues in cheek, Ventura’s staff issued new credentials that label each of the 35 reporters an “Official Jackal.”
Access to Ventura won’t change, and reporters who don’t want to wear the pass won’t be excluded from events.
Ventura derided reporters as media jackals in his most recent book.
