Franklin Telecommunications Corp. in Westlake Village, which makes high-speed voice-over Internet equipment and provides other telecommunications services, reported a net loss of $1.7 million, or 4 cents per share, for its fiscal second quarter, which ended Dec. 31.
The loss was slightly less than the $1.8 million, or 7 cents a share, reported a year earlier.
Sales for the quarter were $481,000, compared with $886,000 for the second quarter a year ago.
Chief Financial Officer Tom Russell said slow sales caused the company’s losses.
