Body of Woman Found in Trash Bin

The body of a young woman was found Monday morning in a trash bin in West Los Angeles, police said.
Detectives said the woman, an African American about 20, had not been identified. The coroner’s office said the cause of death had not been determined.
The grim discovery in the 2000 block of Corning Street was made by a resident who was taking out his trash about 9 a.m., said Jason Lee, a spokesman for the Los Angeles Police Department.
