* Re “Bustamante Voices Regret for Racial Slur,” Feb. 14: Who among us in front of a crowd has not mispronounced a word? Lt. Gov. Cruz Bustamante has been in the forefront of civil rights and affirmative action all his political life. Look to his record. Accept his apology and get on with it.
