Program Offers Aid for Bulk Mailing
Nonprofit organizations needing assistance with bulk-mailing projects can now look to the Conejo Valley Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) for help.
Volunteers will staple, fold, collate, stuff envelopes, sort and affix stamps depending on the need.
About 30 nonprofit agencies participate, according to program director Louise Daniel, who added that the volunteer group welcomes more.
“We have about 20 volunteers that always come and help,” Daniel said. “They love it and are very good and fast workers. They’ve become a kind of bulk-mailing gang.”
This free service is not available to religious or political nonprofit organizations. All services are offered at the program office at 1385 E. Janss Road in Thousand Oaks.
