The Cal Lutheran baseball team manhandled Caltech last week while improving to 3-0 in the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
The Kingsmen (4-2 overall) swept three games by a combined score of 66-3, including victories of 21-0 and 14-0 in a doubleheader Saturday. Cal Lutheran had 50 hits in the series.
Steve Maitland is batting .750 (12 for 16) to lead the Kingsmen.

Northridge is 8-4 after dropping two of three baseball games at Texas Tech last weekend. The Matadors resume play Saturday with the first game of a two-game weekend series against visiting Cal State Dominguez Hills.
Shortstop J.T. Stotts, who was selected Big West Conference player of the week after batting .571 with four home runs and 12 runs batted in four games two weeks ago, went four for 12 against Texas Tech. Stotts leads Northridge with a .444 average and 20 RBIs.
