Moorpark Chamber Names Cardservice Top Business

Moorpark Chamber of Commerce has named Cardservice International Inc. business of the year.
Cardservice, which is one of Moorpark’s largest employers with 800 workers, was selected because of its active community participation, chamber officials said.
The company “kept coming up over and over again because of its involvement in the community,” said Rebekah Evans, the chamber’s chief executive and president.
Since moving to Moorpark in March, Cardservice has participated in a number of local efforts, including the sponsorship and revival of the city fireworks display.
Cardservice International provides merchants with credit card processing over the Internet, as well as in the traditional market place.
