The Cold Facts

We enjoyed Susan Spano’s article, “Yellowstone’s Cold Rush” (Jan. 21). In the Guidebook she mentions Yellowstone Expeditions.
We were guests with Yellowstone Expeditions on New Year’s 2000 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff was accommodating to snowshoers and cross-country skiers and knowledgeable about Yellowstone. They knew of some hidden places that few snowmobilers will ever get to see. The food was plentiful and hearty. The heated sleeping yurts were cozy.
We highly recommend the company to anyone who wants to see the “real” Yellowstone in winter.

Recently my boyfriend suggested we investigate spending the next holidays at Yellowstone National Park. Imagine our joy to read Spano’s superb article about the facilities and wonders there. Her coverage was involving and informative, and we now look forward to spending a vacation there.
