From Times Staff Reports
A gunman robbed a market Saturday night and fled out the store’s back exit, authorities said.
Witnesses said the man entered Trade Winds Market about 7:30 and ordered a clerk to empty the cash register, said Mike Galvan, a dispatcher for the Port Hueneme Police Department.
The gunman, who brandished a semiautomatic handgun at store employees and customers, was described as 6 foot 2, with a medium build. He was wearing a black wool cap and a black scarf that concealed the lower half of his face, Galvan said.
