The holiday season sometimes jolts many of us into long delayed activity, and in that guise I want to thank Susan Spano for her consistently interesting and well-written columns. Over the years, I have looked forward to her weekly efforts.
As a San Franciscan and a 60-plus grandfather, I thank you again for writing that is neither parochially L.A. nor, despite the title, limited to women.
