Israeli Troops in Gaza Kill 1 of 2 Assailants

Ignoring Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat’s truce order, two members of the militant Islamic Jihad group attacked an Israeli army patrol in the Gaza Strip in a failed suicide mission.
Troops killed one assailant and found remnants of an explosives belt near his body. The second attacker fled, an officer said.
In a separate incident in Gaza, Israeli soldiers fired toward a refugee camp in Rafah, seriously injuring a woman walking in the street, Palestinian security officials said.
