Update--Washington has won the last four meetings against UCLA at Seattle, including a 96-94 upset last season on a last-second, three-point basket by senior Michael Johnson in his final game. In jumping to a fast start this season, the Huskies were shooting 46% from three-point range until a deflating 67-47 loss to Gonzaga. They missed 12 in a row from long range, going six for 25. Leading scorer Doug Wrenn (16.6 points) will not start because he was late for the Gonzaga game. Sophomore point guard Curtis Allen (13 points, 4.3 assists) has improved as a shooter. Senior center David Dixon went from 300 to 270 pounds and is averaging 9.2 points and 8.7 rebounds. UCLA forward Matt Barnes will play after missing the Bruins’ 75-74 victory over UC Irvine because of a sprained ankle. Freshman Dijon Thompson is coming off a 14-point, seven-rebound effort. Jason Kapono averages 22 points and Billy Knight averages 13.
