Teens Charged in Rape and Theft
Three teenage boys were charged Monday in connection with the rape of a 15-year-old girl and the theft of $8,000 in property from her home.
A total of six youths have been implicated in the crime.
A 14-year-old from La Verne was charged with rape and grand theft. A 15-year-old Monrovia boy was charged with sexual battery. And another 14-year-old, also from La Verne, was charged with grand theft. The boys were arrested in connection with a drinking party on Dec. 12 that ended in the rape of the girl and the ransacking of her house, detectives said Monday.
