Trammell Crow Buys Marina del Rey Property
Trammell Crow Residential acquired a former industrial property on Glencoe Avenue in Marina del Rey and has begun construction of a $30-million, 102-unit luxury apartment project expected to be completed in mid-2003.
The complex will be called Alexan del Rey and will include two four-story towers connected by a four-story parking structure, according to Michael Genthe, Trammell Crow development partner.
Trammell Crow is general contractor for the development, which was designed by Architects Orange, of Orange. John Wilkinson of Coldwell Banker Commercial Westmac represented the buyer and seller in Trammell Crow’s $4.5-million purchase of the site from Manley Building Partnerships.
