All-Star Football Game Set for Saturday

Long Beach Poly quarterback Brandon Brooks, who helped the Jackrabbits to their third consecutive Southern Section Division I championship, is among the players scheduled to participate in the second Los Angeles vs. Orange County all-star football game Saturday at Cerritos College.
Joining Brooks on the Los Angeles team, which will be coached by Jack Mahlstede of Santa Fe Springs Santa Fe, are two Poly teammates, fullback Rory Carrington and linebacker Pago Togafau.
The Orange County team, coached by Bruce Eien of Cypress Brethren Christian, features three players from Division I runner-up Huntington Beach Edison: wide receiver Denny Flanagan, defensive back Chuckie Linman and offensive lineman Kevin Weissenback.
Kickoff is 3 p.m. General admission tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and students; children 5 and under will be admitted free.
