Lyon Capital Buys Property in Long Beach

Lyon Capital Ventures of Newport Beach acquired the 266-unit Pacific Holiday Towers at 1900 Ocean Ave. in Long Beach from PHT Limited Partnership and Pacific Holiday Tower Ltd. for $33.6 million. The buyer was represented in-house by J. Burns and by Robin Ossenbeck of Hendricks & Partners. The sellers represented themselves.

LaSalle Investment Management Inc., a Chicago-based real estate investment trust, purchased the 412-unit Country Hills Apartments at 1530 Via Santiago in Corona from Investec Properties of Santa Barbara for $25.5 million. John Kalmikov and Marty Combs of Grubb & Ellis represented the seller. Doug Froehlke of Marcus & Millichap represented the buyer.

J.D. Power & Associates relocated its corporate headquarters from Agoura Hills to the 133,000-square-foot Westlake Corporate Plaza at 2625 Townsgate Road in Westlake Village after signing a seven-year, $20-million lease for the office space. Brian Forster and Jeff Albee of Told Partners represented the tenant and the landlord, Pacifica Real Estate.
