Deadline for ’94 Quake Damage Claims Dec. 31

The deadline to file claims for damage stemming from the 1994 Northridge earthquake is Dec. 31.
Those who have filed claims but have not resolved them with their insurance companies and wish to pursue litigation must also file lawsuits by that date, officials said.
Under AB 1899, enacted Jan. 1, the deadline for quake-related claims was extended through the end of this year.
