A federal judge ruled that if a discrimination suit against Wal-Mart Stores Inc. goes to trial, it will take place in San Francisco. Bentonville, Ark.-based Wal-Mart, the nation’s largest private employer, wanted to move the case to Arkansas. The decision by U.S. District Judge Martin Jenkins did not cover whether the trial should proceed.
