Profiling by Travel Agents?
What a comfort that we have such patriots as travel agent Marylin Beard (“Travel Agents as a Line of Defense,†Letters, Oct. 14), who offers her booking services to terrorists so that essential facts regarding their addresses, telephone numbers and credit-card details would be immediately available. She also points out that much of her business is done “face to face†so that her ability to recognize varmints could aid national security. That would indeed be racial profiling.
