We Need More Jerry Browns
Hide behind bureaucratic red tape? Not Jerry Brown (“Jerry Brown,†by Maria L. La Ganga, Nov. 4). “I keep changing,†he said, which is good. Perhaps Mark Twain described Brown best 100 years ago in a speech at Greenpoint Presbyterian Church in Brooklyn: “Always do right. This will gratify some people and astonish the rest.†We need more Jerry Browns in government.
