Jewish Symphony to ‘Celebrate Joy’
The Los Angeles Jewish Symphony will present “Celebrate Joy,†as part of its eighth concert season, at 7:30 p.m. Sunday in Beverly Hills High School’s K.L. Peters Auditorium, 241 Moreno Ave.
The concert will feature Peter Yarrow’s “Light One Candle,†Zamir Bavel’s “Hanukkah Rhapsody†and Aminadav Aloni’s “Or Ha-am.†Featured will be Cantor Evan Kend, soprano Ariella Vaccarino and the Milken Community High School choir under the direction of Noreen Green.
The Hollywood Klezmer ensemble will join the symphony in Sid Robinvich’s “Suite for Klezmer Band and Orchestra.â€
