Apparent Amnesiac Walks Into Hospital
From Times Staff Reports
Police and hospital officials said Thursday that they haven’t learned the identity of a neatly dressed jogger who walked into an emergency room and said he didn’t know who he was or where he lived.
The man, who appears to be in his mid-20s, displayed no signs of a medical problem or drug use and apparently suffers from amnesia, authorities said. He was articulate and well groomed but carried no identification Wednesday when he walked into Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian.
Police sent his fingerprints to the FBI.
