There Are Older ‘Oldies’

The headline “Hint: The Oldies Are Still Goodies” (by Geoff Boucher, April 18) refers to the music of the ‘70s.
I would like to remind the editors that there are still a lot of us around to whom the “oldies but goodies” will always refer to the sweet music of the ‘30s and ‘40s as played by the likes of Guy Lombardo, Wayne King, Tommy Dorsey and many others.
