* Re “World Leaders Hail Milosevic Arrest as End of Turbulent Era,” April 2: Slobodan Milosevic’s arrest is hailed by those who abetted his crimes against humanity by imposing an unethical and illegal arms embargo against Bosnian victims. Digging up the graves and identifying the victims will not absolve these leaders of their complicity in the crimes of Milosevic. Justice will be done only when they at least admit their sense of guilt for denying the victims their right of self-defense. The same mistake is being done with regard to Palestinians now.

* Milosevic is in a Serbian jail, and as Yugoslav President Vojislav Kostunica said, no man is above the law (April 1). We hope that the same law will apply for former President Clinton, Madeleine Albright, Richard Holbrooke and British Prime Minister Tony Blair, to name a few.

* So Belgrade will receive millions in aid from the U.S., now that Milosevic has been arrested and jailed. How much do you want to bet that the charges are explained away and Milosevic released, once the check is cashed?
