Hueneme 27, Hawthorne 10--Dwayne Taylor rushed for 141 yards in 19 carries and scored two touchdowns for the Vikings (2-1) at Hawthorne.
Taylor capped a 90-yard first-quarter drive with a six-yard scoring run that gave Hueneme a 13-0 lead.
Taylor scored again with 4:38 to play in the half on a nine-yard run that extended the lead to 21-0.
The Vikings amassed 224 yards rushing.
Julian Gooden had three of Hueneme’s four interceptions, and the Vikings recovered three fumbles.
