Monrovia 34, Burbank 8--The Bulldogs (1-2) were limited to 126 yards in a loss at Monrovia.
Burbank scored on its final possession to avoid a shutout. Paul Escobar completed a nine-yard touchdown pass to Roger Starkey with 1:02 to play.
Starkey led Burbank with four catches for 70 yards, and running back Oscar Flores rushed for 30 yards in seven carries.
Monrovia (2-1) was led by receiver Chris Johnson, who had five catches for 119 yards and two touchdowns.

South Pasadena 40, Glendale 0--Felix Justin and Patrick Mackey-Mason each rushed for two touchdowns for the Tigers at South Pasadena.
South Pasadena, which scored all its points in the first half, finished with 162 yards and five touchdowns rushing.
Daniel Zynn recovered a fumble by running back Dustin Nerseyan of Glendale and returned it nine yards for a touchdown in first quarter to make the score 20-0.
Glendale (0-3) lost three fumbles in the first half, all leading to Tiger touchdowns. The Dynamiters finished with 89 total yards. Nerseyan rushed for 37 yards in seven carries.
