Latin Glammys

From folkoric feathers to rock-star leather to sexy samba sequins, the style along the red carpet of the first Latin Grammy Awards on Wednesday was as far-ranging as the music itself.
Guided by global influences, Latin musicians have adapted an international style. Clothes from Italy’s Dolce & Gabbana, France’s Christian Dior and New York’s Pamela Dennis draped those cruising the carpet, along with Latino designers, including L.A.’s David Cardona, Eduardo Lucero, Henry Duarte an Alan del Rosario.
Other acts adopted wardrobes universal to their musical categories: sleek suits for the crooners, leather for the rockers, flashy gowns for the sirens and dreadlocks for the hip-hoppers.
