The La Habra Branch Library is hosting a membership brunch for the Brea/La Habra American Assn. of University Women at 9 a.m. Sept. 16 at 221 E. La Habra Blvd.
The association is one of the top fund-raisers for scholarships for female college students. The brunch will feature presentations on the group’s fund-raisers, as well as other activities to promote higher education.
The membership brunch is open to women holding a baccalaureate or higher degree. Information: (714) 996-0149.
