Awards Ceremony for Achievement in Animation
The 28th annual Annie Awards, honoring the year’s outstanding achievement in animation for film, television, home videos, short subjects, commercials and electronic media, will be held Nov. 11 at the Alex Theatre in Glendale.
Nominees this year include the films “Toy Story 2,†“The Road to El Dorado,†“Fantasia/2000,†“Chicken Run†and “Titan A.E.,†as well as the TV show “King of the Hill.â€
Tickets to the 7 p.m. ceremony, which will be preceded by a 5 p.m. champagne reception, are $50, or $35 for members of the International Animated Film Society (ASIFA-Hollywood).
