The Orange County Transportation Authority approved an agreement with the city to conduct a study on the feasibility of building a sound wall along the northbound side of Interstate 5 in Mission Viejo.
The wall would run from La Paz Road and Alicia Parkway to dampen freeway noise in the Aegean Hills neighborhood.
The Transportation Authority has agreed to provide a maximum of $75,000 to fund the study.
