The city is offering an alternative to traditional trick-or-treating with a Halloween Haunt, planned from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday at Heritage Park, 4601 Walnut Ave. Little goblins, ages 6 to 12, can step through the city’s scary haunted house, while children 3 to 7 take part in carnival games, crafts and a costume parade.
Cost is $3 per person for the haunted house, $14 for the carnival activities. Tickets may be purchased at the event.
