City Council meetings will soon become sharper to residents watching the proceedings on TV. Council members recently approved a $111,708 contract with Pacific Video of Placentia to buy and install new video equipment to televise their meetings.
The equipment replaces cameras, cable, monitors and other devices bought in 1993 to televise meetings and produce public information videos. The city’s analog system will be upgraded to a digital format, designed to increase system reliability, improve picture quality and link with the new digital cable television system being constructed by the city’s cable provider, Adelphia Communications.
