CYPRESS
Otto Sin, 94, has been awarded the 2000 Outstanding Senior Recognition Award by the Cypress Senior Citizen Commission.
Sin, a resident of Cypress for more than 39 years, was founder and first president of the Cypress Senior Citizens Club in 1971. He was also recognized by the Cypress City Council in 1995 for his work in the senior community and crowned king of the Cypress Festival in 1987. Today, Sin is still an active resident and volunteer in the senior club.
