St. Bonaventure 73, Santa Ana Calvary Chapel 7--The Seraphs scored 47 first-quarter points at Westminster High.

“I was concerned about the long trip, but we came out ready to play,†Coach Jon Mack of St. Bonaventure said.

It was the 26th consecutive victory for the Seraphs (12-0). Calvary Chapel finished 7-5.

A key element of St. Bonaventure’s domination was the play of their punt-coverage team, which accounted for two touchdowns and one safety.

Lorenzo Booker had 212 all-purpose yards. He started the scoring with a one-yard run in St. Bonaventure’s opening drive and he took a screen pass from Jack Swisher and turned it into a 61-yard touchdown.

Booker added a seven-yard scoring run and finished with 151 yards in 16 carries. He and the rest of the starters were replaced midway through the second quarter and returned for only one series in the third quarter.

Swisher completed six of 10 passes for 145 yards and three touchdowns, two to Whitney Lewis.

The Seraphs out-gained Calvary Chapel, 511 yards to 109, and set a school record for points in a game. They established the previous record in a 69-7 victory over Malibu last week.
