TV Program Offers Advice on Starting a Business
Entrepreneurs overwhelmed by the plethora of how-to books can now find start-up help as close as the remote control. The West Coast small-business television program “Making It! Minority Success Stories†will air a special “How to Start a Business†episode. The show will feature advisors such as Wally Amos, founder of Famous Amos cookies. It also will offer a step-by-step guide to writing a business plan and list of resources to get you started. In the Los Angeles area, the show will air at 6:30 a.m. Sunday on KTLA-TV Channel 5. The show will be seen in San Francisco, San Diego and Sacramento at other times.
