Redlands Revisited

The Weekend Escape article “Redlands, an Inland Empress” (Sept. 24) fails to mention anything about the Lincoln Memorial, as well as the extensive Lincoln collection within the A.K. Smiley Library holdings.
Another point of interest not mentioned, which has just as much historical significance for the Inland Empire area as the Morrey Mansion, is the Edwards Mansion. Also unmentioned: the great summer program of concerts, theater and children’s workshops offered at the Redlands Bowl.
While the article seemed to be geared toward a more mature adult audience, Redlands offers kids a great time too, with Pharaoh’s Lost Kingdom and a skate park adjacent to a movie theater less than a mile from State Street.
