Todd Feiereisen returned to practice Monday, but there will be no quarterback controversy at Westlake.
Feiereisen, who has 11 touchdown passes and only one interception, will return to second-string status behind Cory Miles, who returned last week from a six-week layoff because of a broken bone in his lower leg.
In Miles’ place, Feiereisen guided Westlake to a 4-0 record until he suffered a slightly separated shoulder against Moorpark on Oct. 13.
Miles, who has completed 36 of 65 passes for 487 yards with five touchdowns and four interceptions, will start Friday against Agoura.
“He was the starter when he got hurt and he’s the starter when he came back,†Coach Jim Benkert said.
Feiereisen will continue to punt for Westlake (8-1, 5-0 in Marmonte League play), which has already clinched its second consecutive league title.
