Thousand Oaks 32, Simi Valley 6--Dave Anderson caught a touchdown pass, returned a kick for a touchdown and recovered two fumbles for the Lancers (4-5, 3-2) at Simi Valley.
Anderson caught six passes for 124 yards, including a 53-yard touchdown pass from Ben Olson 45 seconds into the game. Anderson’s 75-yard kick return for a score midway through the second quarter put Thousand Oaks ahead, 25-6. He also returned a fumble 50 yards for a touchdown, but the score was nullified by a clipping penalty.
Thousand Oaks recovered five fumbles. Corey Mazza returned one 15 yards for a touchdown.
Olson completed 10 of 24 for 167 yards and two touchdowns and one interception.
Chris DeLung rushed for 159 yards in 39 carries and scored the only touchdown for the Pioneers (0-9, 0-5) on a 10-yard run in the second quarter.
