Resident Ron Burford was recently named the Recreation and Community Services Department’s Volunteer of the Year for his years of service. Burford was chosen from more than 200 city volunteers. He has worked with Youth 20/20, Volunteers in Policing, the La Palma Lions Club and the city’s Meals-On-Wheels program.
