The Cord Blood Bank at Children’s Hospital of Orange County is seeking pregnant women who will consent to donate their baby’s umbilical cord blood at the time of delivery to treat patients with cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
The collection of cord blood does not change the labor experience, and blood is not taken from the baby. The program is also open to women delivering at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Information: (714) 516-4335.
