Gordon D. Venturella was appointed the new vice president of advancement for Hope International University. He will oversee the university’s development program, which includes regular and donor support, and will be a member of the President’s Cabinet.
Venturella is the senior pastor at the First Christian Church of Downey and founder of a church in Chicago.
His term will be effective starting Oct. 1.
