Mayor Guy Carrozzo and the City Council have proclaimed May as Buddy Poppy Month. The Veterans of Foreign Wars will be at stores throughout the city requesting donations that will benefit veterans. With each donation, VFW members will give a “buddy poppy,” a synthetic flower.
