The city’s branch of the Orange County Public Library will recognize the contributions and importance of its volunteers during a special tea in April.
More than 90 residents donate their time and money to keep the library operational, officials said.
Jill Patterson, La Habra’s library branch manager, said volunteers run the library’s used bookstore and raise more than $800 a month to purchase items such as large-print books and books on tape.
Tea time begins at 2 p.m. Thursday in the library’s community conference room.
