Police fired tear gas into a rowdy crowd of about 300 people that overturned dumpsters and started small bonfires on the Purdue campus at West Lafayette, Ind., after the Boilermakers’ loss to Wisconsin.
Eleven were arrested in connection with the melee.
After Purdue’s victory over Gonzaga Thursday night, a celebration of 5,000 people ended with a bonfire and property damage. Four were arrested.
