In Sea View League baseball:
Laguna Hills 5, Aliso Niguel 3--Joe Viglione’s two-run double with two out in the top of the seventh capped a three-run rally for Laguna Hills (4-4, 3-0).
Brian Anderson (1-1), who doubled to tie the score, 3-3, in the seventh, pitched a complete game and struck out eight for the Hawks.
Newport Harbor 6, Woodbridge 5--Nick Langsdorf’s solo home run with two out in the seventh lifted host Newport Harbor.
Langsdorf had tied the score, 5-5, with a two-run homer in the fifth. Langsdorf is tied with Capistrano Valley’s Travis Becktel with a county-leading four home runs.
In nonleague baseball:
Bolsa Grande 4, Corona del Mar 3 (8 innings)--Mike Johnstone singled in Victor Perales with two outs in the bottom of the eighth for host Bolsa Grande (6-4).
Mater Dei 11, Lynwood 1 (5 innings, mercy)--Josh Hansen homered twice and drove in three runs and second baseman Mike Harris added a two-run shot for the host Monarchs (6-3).
In Century League boys’ golf:
Villa Park 200, Foothill 210--Zach Cohn made two birdies and shot a one-under 35 for the Spartans (4-1, 1-0) at Strawberry Farms.
In the Orange League:
Valencia 222, Fairmont 250--Sophomore Chris Perales made eagle on the 540-yard ninth hole and finished with a two-over 39 for Valencia (2-3, 1-0) at Alta Vista.
In nonleague softball:
Newport Harbor 6, Santa Ana 4--Lauren Gallardo’s two-run single in the bottom of the fifth broke a 4-4 tie for Newport Harbor (6-3). Vanessa Bernal had three hits for Santa Ana.
In nonleague boys’ tennis:
No. 1 Corona del Mar 12, Edison 6--Brian Morton won in singles, 6-2, 6-4, 6-2, and Michael Bean and Peter Kulmaticki teamed to sweep in doubles, 6-1, 6-1, 6-3, for Corona del Mar.
